So, because I promised pictures of my spectacularly dippy David Tennant Doctor Who costume, and I didn't make it to the big party last night (for some reason...):

I TOLD the maternity ward staff that I was a Doctor, and I even showed them my credentials, but they still didn't let me in the OR.

Despite my best efforts.

Oh well. Kid turned out okay, anyway.

Also, clearly that childlike sense of wonder means that Patrick would be an excellent Companion.

Although Katie's ability to repair a Windsor knot despite my open mockery suggests she too could handle a stint on the TARDIS.
I will also take this chance to note that I was wearing owl socks. Kip picked up on the pun immediately, which speaks to his presence of mind under the circumstances.
I'll wear the outfit again sometime before I cut my hair, just to get some photos NOT in dim or fluorescent lighting. Also, who knew that ironically worn pinstripe suits were so comfortable?
